How to get involved
Join us as a volunteer to make a difference to people’s lives.
We aim to make getting involved as a volunteer with us an easy process. We have a few steps in place to help find a volunteering opportunity that’s right for you. Register your interest below!
1. Take a look at our volunteering opportunities
We have a host of volunteer opportunitiesacross Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes to suit different time commitments, interests and experiences. Some require specific skills, some a longer-term commitment and others you can do as an occasional basis. Each opportunity has a description so you see what the role requires.
We may not be currently recruiting for certain roles but if you register with us, we can keep you updated when opportunities become available.
2. Register your interest to find out more
Fill in our enquiry form below and we’ll be in contact to chat through the role you have identified or find a role based on your skills, interests, location and availability.
3. Apply to become a volunteer
Once you’ve decided which role(s) you are interested in, we will ask you to fill in an application form. After you’ve returned your form and depending on the roles you’re interested in, we may ask you to answer supplementary questions and most roles will have an informal interview. This is all to make sure the role is the right fit so you have rewarding volunteer experience with us.
We also take up two references for most roles, but don’t do this until after the informal interview stage.
4. Welcome, induction & support
Once you’ve been successful in your volunteer application we will welcome you as part of our valued volunteer community and provide an induction to volunteering with us and your role. Some roles will have specific training requirements before you start volunteering and others may provide ongoing training opportunities. You will receive ongoing support during your time as a volunteer.
Take action today – register your interest below and one of our Volunteer Co-ordinators will be in touch.
