Why Volunteer with Us

Nobody can do everything but everyone can do something!

Knowing you have helped someone is an amazing feeling, but there is so much more to gain. New friends, new skills and experience, and confidence, to name but a few!

Volunteers are an integral part of Connection Support so you can be sure your time will be valued.

Not everyone has someone to turn to in a crisis, a friend they can chat to or someone to lend a practical hand or teach them how to navigate online. Connection Support volunteers help fill those gaps and, in doing so, often make a lasting difference to another person’s life.

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities across our projects in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, all are flexible.

There’s no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to volunteering with us

Whether you want to gain experience to move into a career in the social support sector, fill up your spare time, or simply make a difference; we would love to hear from you.

Volunteering with Connection Support offers many exciting opportunities. There is no typical volunteer, we believe that everyone has something valuable to offer. Whether your skills are practical, admin, language-based or people-centred, we can find a role to suit you!
