Our work in Milton Keynes focuses on creating collaborative solutions that meet the city’s evolving needs. By working with local authorities, housing providers, and voluntary sector partners, we’re supporting people to sustain tenancies, improve wellbeing, and access opportunities that lead to stability and independence. Together, we’re building stronger, more connected communities across Milton Keynes.

  • Restart Thames Valley: We continued delivering this pilot project until October 2024, supporting ex-offenders in partnership with Aspire Oxfordshire and Thames Valley Partnership. The aim is to help people leaving prison build a more stable and positive future. We’re playing a key role in the evaluation of RESTART’s outcomes and remain hopeful that it will demonstrate the service’s value, paving the way for future funding and further development of the project.
  • Milton Keynes Homelessness Partnership (MKHP): With homelessness on the rise in Milton Keynes, former MKHP Trustees have joined forces with local homelessness leaders to improve collaboration and develop joint solutions. Initiated by our CEO, Chris Keating, the new forum unites senior representatives from YMCA MK, Unity MK, and The Bus Shelter MK to tackle system pressures, the shortage of emergency accommodation, and the need for more coordinated, person-centred support. Recent meetings have reinforced their shared commitment to reducing homelessness and driving lasting change in the city.
