Information for PAs/Carers looking for work

If you are interested in seeking opportunities to be employed as a Personal Assistant (PA) with either a disabled adult or child you can apply to join the PA register.

In the majority of PA job roles, no formal training is required as the focus will be on you having the right attributes to support someone with a disability and help them have control with how they are supported with their day to day living.

Once your registration has been completed and you have agreed to the PA Register terms and conditions, your application will be considered.  *** Your application will be manually approved, so it will not go live immediately. You will receive an email notification confirming if your application has been successful.

Who is my employer?

You would be employed directly by the individual you are supporting or their representative, they would pay you and provide you with induction training and apply for a DBS check should it be required.

What happens after my registration has been accepted?
