Worried about losing your home? Our Homeless Prevention Service is here to help you avoid homelessness by giving you the tools and support to manage your money, navigate benefits and build independence. We’ll work with you to understand your circumstances and challenges, so we can provide tailored support to help you take control of your situation.
Who is this service for?
This service is available to Oxfordshire residents aged 16 and over, as well as households with non-dependent children who are living in privately rented accommodation. It is also available to individuals who are vulnerably housed and those experiencing ‘hidden homelessness’, such as individuals who are sofa-surfing, living in vehicles, or preparing to leave institutions, including prison, hospital or care settings.
If you have children under 16, please refer to our Family Homeless Prevention Service.
How do we work with you?
Once we receive your referral, we’ll check if you’re eligible and, if so, we’ll offer you an assessment. We’ll then work with you to agree on a support plan and get started on helping you achieve the outcomes that matter to you.
