Ways You Can Help Our Clients

Whilst we receive funding for most of our services, your support will enable us to see more people in need, continue with a service when funding ceases, and provide essential items to help clients live independently. There are several ways you can support us through donations or fundraising…

Online Shopping

Amazon Smile

If you shop on Amazon, sign up to Amazon Smile for free (using the same details as your normal Amazon account) and choose Connection Support as your favourite charity. When you purchase items this way, Amazon donates 0.5% of the price to us, at no extra cost to you!

Shop&Give (powered by The Giving Machine)

The Giving Machine Donate

Every year online shops pay millions in sales commissions to other websites that direct shoppers to them (e.g. voucher code websites). The Shop&Give platform (powered by The Giving Machine) turns these commissions into donations without it costing anyone a penny more. Please join and select Connection Support as your chosen charity to generate free donations for our clients.

You can donate online – one-off or set up a monthly donation directly through our website. We recognise that some people prefer to send us their donation as a cheque. If this suits you best please make the cheque payable to Connection Support and send it to:

Finance Department, Connection Support, 213 Barns Road, Cowley, Oxford OX4 3UT

You can also transfer your fundraising donation directly to our bank account or set up a standing order donation. If you’d like our bank details or a standing order form please contact our Finance Department.

Fundraise For Us

If you are organising a team or individual fundraising event you may find the Connection Support page on JustGiving helpful.

Corporate Supporters

If your company (or clients) or organisation (members perhaps) are looking for a charity of the year or to make a one-off donation please contact our Finance Department before your fundraising activities start.

Local Schools

We welcome support and engagement from local schools in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Milton Keynes who wish to fundraise to support our clients. Perhaps your school or house would like to choose us as your charity of the year, we’d be delighted to discuss this at the start of your relationship with us. Please contact our Finance Department to discuss.

Give Your Time

You may wish to support us in other ways, such as volunteering to support our clients. Please view our current volunteering opportunities.

Thank You

We appreciate whatever you can give because your support will make a difference and be used to provide support to people facing complex life challenges so thank you very much. They may be someone who is homeless and has no recourse to public funds so is unable to claim benefits, a young person living in supported accommodation or your donation could help someone who has been sleeping rough make a home and keep in touch (basics such as kitchen equipment, bedding and a mobile phone).
