Our origins may be rooted in solving homelessness and achieving independence, but as the challenges our clients face evolve, so have we. Our approach to supporting clients extends beyond that of offering housing support; helping people address their mental health now underpins the majority of our work. Whether we’re supporting with daily tasks or providing intensive support to prevent admission to an acute mental health ward, our interventions make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The holistic support we offer empowers our clients to achieve independent living, which is intrinsically linked to better mental health.

At Connection Support, minds matter too.

We deliver more than 30 different services and all of them contribute to improving our clients mental health in some way. Above, we've linked to our distinct mental health services, but the embedded practical and emotional support that all of our clients receive allows them to develop the skills that are intrinsically linked to better wellbeing. Whether it’s helping people attend appointments, linking them to local community/social groups, or finding them sustainable housing, we're having a positive influence in people's lives.

“I cannot tell you how much I have appreciated the support and how lucky I feel to have such a willing, kind, caring and helpful support worker. Connection Support has made a huge difference in my life… It felt like I was drowning and my Support Worker was my life jacket.”

I wouldn't be here without you; you don't know how much your support has meant to be me but it has been invaluable. Thank you.
