Violence Reduction Navigator

Location: Oxfordshire

Can you work alongside vulnerable people and empower them to take on their complex social needs? Are you someone who wants to support the NHS during its time of need? Are you confident in your communication skills, or seeking to develop your abilities?

We’re seeking volunteers to work as Violence Reduction Navigators at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Navigators are there to provide a listening ear and practical support to patients attending A&E due to incidents involving violence. You will signpost, refer or empower patients to tackle complex social issues; supporting patients to end the cycle of repeated Emergency department admissions as part of our Violence Reduction Service.
