Connecting Across the Organisation

We bring our teams together by hosting regular events, such as our office social lunches, away days, and our Annual Staff and Volunteer Awards, which celebrates the achievements of our staff and volunteers. We also hold bi-monthly 'Keeping Connected' meetings to keep staff informed across the organisation, and as of 2024, we also host an annual Wellbeing Festival too.

Our CEO and Deputy CEO lead regular Values Workshops, providing an opportunity for staff and volunteers to reflect on the core principles that guide our work. Additionally, we actively attend and support community events like Pride and Ukrainian Independence Day, as well as participating in fun fundraising sports challenges.

At Connection Support,  our staff have the opportunity to influence our organisational culture, help bring about positive change in the community, gain exposure to other parts of the organisation beyond their day job, and develop skills such as public speaking and leadership, all by joining one our staff champion groups.

We currently have four champion groups: Client Involvement, Environment and Sustainability, Wellbeing, and Equality, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Leadership & Staff: An Open Conversation

Our CEO has an open-door policy, and truly welcomes the opportunity to get to know every member of staff and the work they are doing, including any difficulties they are facing. Our Board also invites all staff to meet with them twice a year to discuss improvements across the organisation.

Let's not forget our amazing team of Directors, Team Managers, Seniors, and colleagues who are always willing to listen and share knowledge, or just have a good old catch-up.
