About The Service
The aim of the service is to support people with a history of rough sleeping, or at risk of rough sleeping, to make positive moves towards maintaining settled accommodation and achieving an improved quality of life.
This service incorporates our previous Housing First Model and Next Steps Accommodation Programme to support people with very high to low needs.
Who Is This Service For?
This service supports single adults aged 18 or over with a history of rough sleeping, or those who are at risk of doing so.
What We Can Help You With?
The purpose of the service is to enable people, often entrenched in a rough sleeping lifestyle, to take up the opportunity of a more settled way of life within their own accommodation. The service will enable people to establish and maintain a tenancy and wherever possible make a successful transition to independent living regardless of initial level of need.
We offer practical and emotional support including:
- Tenancy sustainment
- Housing issues
- Daily living skills
- Budgeting skills
- Benefit issues
- Attending appointments
- Social skills
- Linking in with other specialist services
